This was passed down, it was my grandmothers, she never displayed this one, she kept it in a storage box with other collector item plates in her closet, she paid $175 for this plate back in 1977. This plate is in perfect condition, no chips or cracks.
What is absolutely crazy is that in 1999 these plates were selling for $425+ and also the fact that this plate in 1977 original retail price was $175, also beware of fake plates out there!
